Road closures: four for Oldham drivers this week

Drivers in and around Oldham will have four National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

But the news isn't too bad, with all of them only expected to cause slight delays, of less than 10 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that four closures are due to start this week:

A663, from 8pm to 10pm on September 5, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A663 northbound, from M60, junction 21 to end of dualling south of, junction B6189 lane closure due to replacement of manhole frame and cover.

A663, from 8am September 12 to 5pm September 14, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A663 northbound, from M60, junction 21 to White Gate Lane lane closure due to maintenance works.

A663, from 9.30am September 15 to 3.30pm September 19, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A663 northbound, from, junction A669 to B6189 including dualling works on footway to lay duct.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
