Road closures: four for Oldham drivers over the next fortnight

Drivers in and around Oldham will have four National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And three of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that two closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:

• A663, from 8pm April 24 to 5am May 31, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A663 both directions Moston Lane East to A627M J1 - lane closure switching for signs.

• A663, from 8pm May 5 to 5am May 31, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A663 both directions Middleton Rd to Foxdenton - carriageway closure for carriageway - reconstruction/renewal.

And a further two closures will begin over the next two weeks:

• A627(M), from 9pm May 31 to 3am June 1, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A663 northbound, Middleton Rd to junction 1 - carriageway closure for drainage.

• A627(M), from 9pm June 7 to 5am June 8, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A627M northbound, A663 Broadway, junction Parkview to junction 1 entry - carriageway closure for carriageway.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
