Oldham's motorists will have six road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

Oldham's motorists will have six road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

And one of them is expected to cause moderate delays – with drivers facing a wait of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that six closures are due to start over the next two weeks:

A663, from 7pm November 13 to 6am November 18, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A663 northbound, at, junction with Lydia Becker Way Lane closure due to laying of HV cable duct.

M62, from 10am to 4pm on November 14, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M62 westbound, junction 23 to junction 22, Lane closure for technology works.

M62, from 8pm November 15 to 6am November 16, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M62 eastbound and westbound, junction 22 to junction 23, slip road closures and Lane closures for general cleaning and maintenance, diversion in place via National highways and local authority network.

M62, from 9pm November 18 to 5am November 19, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M62 westbound, junction 22 to junction 21 - lane closure for barriers.

M62, from 9pm November 20 to 5am November 22, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M62 westbound, junction 22 to junction 21 - lane closure for barriers.

A627(M), from 8pm November 27 to 5am December 30, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A627M both directions A663 to J1 - carriageway closure for drainage.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
