Oldham's motorists will have four road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

Oldham's motorists will have four road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

And two of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:

A627(M), from 8pm September 30 to 5am October 9, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A663 both directions Middleton Rd to junction 1 A627M - carriageway closure for carriageway - reconstruction/renewal.

And a further three closures will begin over the next two weeks:

M62, from 9pm October 9 to 5am October 13, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M62 westbound, junction 22 to junction 22 - carriageway closure for construction - bridge/structure.

M60, from 8pm October 20 to 6am October 21, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M60 both directions J22 to J23 - lane closure for electrical works.

A663, from 8am to 5pm on October 22, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A663 southbound, just before, junction with Lydia Becker Way Lane closure due to laying of HV cable duct.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
