Oldham's motorists will have five road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

And two of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:

A663, from 9pm September 26 to 5am October 31, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A663 northbound and southbound, Mough lane to Long lane - Lane closure for inspection/survey.

And a further four closures will begin over the next seven days:

A663, from 9.30am October 25 to 3.30pm October 27, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A663 northbound, from at, junction with Jardine Way works on footway to to clear blockage.

M62, from 9pm October 27 to 6am October 28, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M62 westbound, junction 23 to junction 22, Lane closure for carriageway repairs.

A663, from 8.30pm November 1 to 5am November 2, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A663 northbound, Broadgate to Gorse St - Lane closure for carriageway - Reconstruction/Renewal.

A663, from 8pm November 7 to 5am November 9, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A663 diversion Route for works at Grimshaw Lane Railway Bridge.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
