Oldham's motorists will have five road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

Oldham's motorists will have five road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

And two of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that five closures are due to start over the next two weeks:

M62, from 9pm November 3 to 5am November 4, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M62 westbound, junction 22 to junction 22 - carriageway closure for construction - bridge/structure.

M62, from 9pm November 4 to 5am November 5, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M62 eastbound and westbound, junction 19 to 21 lane closures due to general maintenance works.

A663, from 8am to 5pm on November 5, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A663 southbound, just before, junction with Lydia Becker Way Lane closure due to laying of HV cable duct.

A663, from 7pm November 6 to 6am November 11, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A663 northbound, at, junction with Lydia Becker Way Lane closure due to laying of HV cable duct.

A627(M), from 8pm November 7 to 6am November 9, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A627M northbound, J1 to J2 - carriageway closure for communications.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
