Good news as food hygiene ratings awarded to seven Oldham establishments

A Food Standards Agency rating sticker on a window of a restaurant in central London. A huge variation in food hygiene standards remains across the UK, with one in five high or medium-risk food outlets failing to meet standards, according to a study.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to seven of Oldham’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them all.

Restaurants, cafes and canteens

The following ratings have been given to six restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: CH & Co Group Ltd (Staff Canteen) at Best Food, Salmon Fields, Royton, Oldham; rated on August 30

• Rated 5: Deelites at Market Hall, Albion Street, Oldham; rated on August 25

• Rated 5: Rhode Island at Spindles Shopping Centre, Oldham; rated on August 25

• Rated 5: Costa Coffee at 2 Elk Mill Central Retail Park, Broadway, Royton, Oldham; rated on August 23

• Rated 5: Nandos at 21 Elk Mill Central Retail Park, Broadway, Royton, Oldham; rated on August 23

• Rated 5: Tasty Bites at 93 Duchess Street, Shaw, Oldham; rated on August 15

Pubs, bars and nightclubs

And one rating has been handed to a pub, bar or nightclub:
