New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Oldham’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Oldham’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

The Thai Kitchen, at Units 25-26 Tommyfield Outdoor Market, Albion Street, Oldham was handed a two-out-of-five rating after assessment on December 15.

And Mr Chippy, at Tommyfield Market Brick Units 3 & 4, Albion Street, Oldham, Oldham was given a score of one on December 15.

It means that of Oldham's 267 takeaways with ratings, 154 (58%) have ratings of five and just two have zero ratings.
