New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Oldham’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Oldham’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Punjab, at 167 Waterloo Street, Oldham was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on July 6.

And Kashmiri Kitchen, at 2a Morris Street, Oldham was given a score of one on July 6.

It means that of Oldham's 280 takeaways with ratings, 144 (51%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
