The Christie Trust cares for eight Covid-19 patients in hospital
The Christie Trust was caring for eight coronavirus patients in hospital as of Tuesday, figures show.
NHS England data shows the number of people being treated in hospital for Covid-19 by 8am on April 26 was up from four on the same day the previous week.

Hide AdThe number of beds at The Christie NHS Foundation Trust occupied by people who tested positive for Covid-19 decreased by 53% in the last four weeks – 28 days ago, there were 17.
Across England there were 11,320 people in hospital with Covid as of April 26, with 276 of them in mechanical ventilation beds.
The number of Covid-19 patients hospitalised nationally has decreased by 27% in the last four weeks, while the number on mechanical ventilators has decreased by 15%.
The figures also show that 14 new Covid patients were admitted to hospital in The Christie NHS Foundation Trust in the week to April 24. This was up from 12 in the previous seven days.
