A Manchester takeaway has been handed a new zero-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Pronto Pizza, a takeaway at 53 Kingsway, Manchester was given the minimum score after assessment on January 11, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Manchester's 597 takeaways with ratings, 199 (33%) have ratings of five and just six have zero ratings.
