A Manchester takeaway has been handed a new one-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Golden Apple Chinese Takeaway, a takeaway at 398 Moston Lane, Manchester was given the score after assessment on August 12, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Manchester's 644 takeaways with ratings, 232 (36%) have ratings of five and just nine have zero ratings.
