A Manchester takeaway has been handed a new one-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Mcr Kitchen, a takeaway at 3 Willow Bank, Church Lane, Lightbowne, Manchester was given the score after assessment on July 24, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Manchester's 639 takeaways with ratings, 230 (36%) have ratings of five and just 10 have zero ratings.
