A Manchester takeaway has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Dixy Chicken, a takeaway at 935-937 Stockport Road, Manchester was given the score after assessment on January 19, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Manchester's 597 takeaways with ratings, 199 (33%) have ratings of five and just six have zero ratings.
