Manchester takeaway given new zero-out-of-five food hygiene rating

A Manchester takeaway has been handed a new zero-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

The Manchu Wok, a takeaway at 4-6 Lane End Road, Manchester was given the minimum score after assessment on July 25, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Manchester's 592 takeaways with ratings, 194 (33%) have ratings of five and just nine have zero ratings.
