A Manchester takeaway has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Ayas Grill Ltd, a takeaway at 231 Great Western Street, Manchester was given the score after assessment on July 25, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Manchester's 643 takeaways with ratings, 232 (36%) have ratings of five and just nine have zero ratings.
