A Manchester takeaway has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Maliks Takeaway, a takeaway at 1166 Ashton Old Road, Manchester was given the score after assessment on July 5, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Manchester's 602 takeaways with ratings, 198 (33%) have ratings of five and just seven have zero ratings.
