A Manchester takeaway has been handed a new five-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

The G Kitchen, a takeaway at Kitchen 5, 37-49 Devonshire Street North, Manchester was given the maximum score after assessment on May 18, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Manchester's 636 takeaways with ratings, 222 (35%) have ratings of five and just 10 have zero ratings.
