Manchester road closures: five for motorists to avoid over the next fortnight
Manchester's motorists will have five road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.
And they are all are expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.

Hide AdThe latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that five closures are due to start over the next two weeks:
• A5103, from 9pm October 30 to 6am November 3, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M56 both directions M56 Sharston Bypass to M60 - carriageway closure for structure - maintenance.
• M56, from 8.30pm November 7 to 5am November 9, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M60 both directions, junction 3 to junction 1 - carriageway closure for horticulture.
• A5103, from 8.30pm November 9 to 5am November 10, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M60 both directions, junction 4 to junction 5 - carriageway closure for horticulture.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
