A Manchester restaurant has been handed a new five-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Progress Restaurant and Bar, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at 294 Barlow Moor Road, Manchester was given the maximum score after assessment on January 17, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Manchester's 1,555 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 1,044 (67%) have ratings of five and just eight have zero ratings.
