New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Manchester’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them both.

Baloch Pizza and Kebab House, at 67 Constable Street, Manchester was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on September 30.

And Just Pizzas, at 67a Constable Street, Manchester was also given a score of five on September 30.

It means that of Manchester's 650 takeaways with ratings, 243 (37%) have ratings of five and just nine have zero ratings.
