New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Manchester’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Manchester’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Chesters, at 352 Moston Lane, Manchester was handed a three-out-of-five rating after assessment on February 15.

And Loaded, at 479 Wilmslow Road, Manchester was also given a score of three on January 16.

It means that of Manchester's 615 takeaways with ratings, 228 (37%) have ratings of five and just eight have zero ratings.
