New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Manchester’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Manchester’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Goody’s Flame Grill, at 261 Oldham Road, Manchester was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on June 22.

And Biggys Manchester Ltd, at 575 Ashton New Road, Manchester was given a score of four on June 14.

It means that of Manchester's 632 takeaways with ratings, 226 (36%) have ratings of five and just 10 have zero ratings.
