Food hygiene ratings handed to two Manchester restaurants

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Manchester’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Manchester’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Comptoir Libanais, at 18-19 The Avenue, Manchester was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on January 30.

And Chapter One Books, at Chatsworth House, 19 Lever Street, Manchester was given a score of one on January 19.

It means that of Manchester's 1,360 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 916 (67%) have ratings of five and just two have zero ratings.
