New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Manchester’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Manchester Time, at 35 Lloyd Street South, Manchester was handed a one-out-of-five rating after assessment on September 6.

And Marsa Cafe, at 151 Princess Road, Manchester was given a score of zero on October 12.

It means that of Manchester's 1,568 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 1,055 (67%) have ratings of five and just nine have zero ratings.
