Road closures: three for Bury drivers this week

Drivers in and around Bury will have three National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And one of them is expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that two closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:

• M60, from 9pm March 16 to 6am August 20, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M66 northbound, junction 4 - three lane closures and carriageway closures due to barrier scheme.

• M60, from 8pm August 1 to 5am October 1, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M60 clockwise and anti-clockwise J13 to J18 - Lane closure for barrier works.

And one more closure will begin over the next seven days:

• M60, from 8.30pm August 13 to 5am August 15, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M62 eastbound and westbound, junction 18 to junction 19 - Lane closure for communications.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
