Road closures: three for Bury drivers over the next fortnight
Drivers in and around Bury will have three National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.
And one of them is expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.

Hide AdThe latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:
• M60, from 8.30pm July 17 to 5am August 3, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M60 both directions, junction 18 to junction 21 - lane closure for drainage.
And a further two closures will begin over the next two weeks:
• A56, from 9pm July 31 to 5am August 19, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A56 both directions Edenfield to Bent Gate - lane closure for electrical works.

Hide Ad• M60, from 8pm August 2 to 6am August 3, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M66 southbound, jct three exit slip road closure due to resurfacing.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
