Road closures: four for Bury drivers this week
Drivers in and around Bury will have four National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.
And three of them are expected to cause moderate delays – with motorists facing waits of between 10 and 30 minutes.

Hide AdThe latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:
• M60, from 8pm September 23 to 6am October 1, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M66 northbound and southbound, J3 to J4 - Lane closure for drainage.
And a further three closures will begin over the next seven days:
• M60, from 8.30pm October 4 to 5am October 5, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M60 clockwise and anticlockwise, junction 15 - 18 lane closures due to barrier works.

Hide Ad• M60, from 9pm October 5 to 5am October 6, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M60 clockwise and anti-clockwise, junction 18 to junction 21 - carriageway closure for maintenance works.
• M60, from 9pm October 10 to 5am October 15, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M60 clockwise and anti-clockwise, junction 18 to 20 - carriageway closure for Structure - maintenance.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
