New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Bury’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Pizzology, at 3 Rufford Parade, Rufford Drive, Whitefield, Manchester was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on July 10.

And Shabaz Indian Takeaway, at 5 Rufford Drive, Whitefield, Manchester was given a score of one on July 10.

It means that of Bury's 223 takeaways with ratings, 142 (64%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
