New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Bury’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Bury’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Mumtaaz, at 172 Bury New Road, Whitefield, Manchester was handed a three-out-of-five rating after assessment on November 7.

And Chop Suey House, at 2 Bury Old Road, Whitefield, Bury was given a score of two on November 7.

It means that of Bury's 227 takeaways with ratings, 151 (67%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
