Road closures: two for Bolton drivers this week

Drivers in and around Bolton will have two National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And one of them is expected to cause delays of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:

• M60, from 8pm June 28 to 6am December 20, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M61 northbound and southbound, junction 1 - nine - Lane closure for communications.

And one more closure will begin over the next seven days:

• M61, from 9pm November 28 to 5am November 29, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M61 southbound, junction 6 to junction 6 - lane closure for electrical works.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
