Road closures: three for Bolton drivers over the next fortnight
Drivers in and around Bolton will have three National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.
And one of them is expected to cause delays of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

Hide AdThe latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:
• M61, from 8pm October 1 to 5am October 2, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M61 southbound, J3 to J1 - lane closure for structure - maintenance.
And a further two closures will begin over the next two weeks:
• M61, from 8pm October 12 to 5am October 13, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M61 southbound, J3 to J1 - lane closure for structure - maintenance.

Hide Ad• M61, from 10pm October 14 to 10am October 15, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M61, junction 3 - A666 northbound and southbound, carriageway closure due to maintenance works.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
