Road closures: four for Bolton drivers this week
Drivers in and around Bolton will have four National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.
And they are all are expected to cause moderate delays – with motorists facing holdups of between 10 and 30 minutes.

Hide AdThe latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that four closures are due to start this week:
• M60, from 8pm January 9 to 6am January 14, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M61 northbound and southbound, M6 to M60 - Lane closure for communications.
• M61, from 9pm January 10 to 5am January 11, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M61 northbound, junction 5 to junction 6 - carriageway closure for Horticulture.
• M61, from 9pm January 13 to 7am January 14, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M61 southbound, junction 5 - carriageway closure for carriageway - reconstruction/renewal.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
