Good news as food hygiene ratings handed to two Bolton takeaways

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Bolton’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them both.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Bolton’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them both.

The Deli Bar, at 314 Chorley Old Road, Bolton was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on January 5.

And Cowans's/Mr Treatz, at 231 Highfield Road, Farnworth, Bolton was also given a score of five on December 29.

It means that of Bolton's 387 takeaways with ratings, 133 (34%) have ratings of five and just two have zero ratings.
