New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Bolton’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Spice Hut, at 128-130 Bradshawgate, Bolton was handed a three-out-of-five rating after assessment on October 5.

And Butt Karahi, at 230 St Helens Road, Bolton was given a score of two on October 5.

It means that of Bolton's 364 takeaways with ratings, 144 (40%) have ratings of five and just four have zero ratings.
