New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Bolton’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Bolton’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Machos, at 250 St Helens Road, Bolton was handed a three-out-of-five rating after assessment on August 8.

And Grill Vibes, at 76 Egerton Street, Farnworth, Bolton was given a score of zero on August 8.

It means that of Bolton's 372 takeaways with ratings, 145 (39%) have ratings of five and just four have zero ratings.
