New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Bolton’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Bolton’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Big Mamma Bolton, at 89 St Georges Avenue, Westhoughton, Bolton was handed a two-out-of-five rating after assessment on July 4.

And Curry Centre, at 68 Egerton Street, Farnworth, Bolton was also given a score of two on July 4.

It means that of Bolton's 369 takeaways with ratings, 145 (39%) have ratings of five and just three have zero ratings.
