Food hygiene ratings handed to two Bolton takeaways

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Bolton’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Nkono, at Stall F3 Ashburner Street Market, Ashburner Street, Bolton was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on July 16.

And Istanbolton Shawarma, at Ground Floor And Basement, 15 Knowsley Street, Bolton was given a score of zero on July 15.

It means that of Bolton's 384 takeaways with ratings, 123 (32%) have ratings of five and just seven have zero ratings.
