New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Bolton’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Bolton’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

A1 Fish & Chips, at 59 Church Street, Westhoughton, Bolton was handed a three-out-of-five rating after assessment on March 24.

And SMASHDOWN, at 274 Halliwell Road, Bolton was also given a score of three on March 24.

It means that of Bolton's 378 takeaways with ratings, 115 (30%) have ratings of five and just four have zero ratings.
