New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Bolton’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Bolton’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Chesters, at 153-155 Blackburn Road, Bolton was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on November 13.

And Machos, at 250 St Helens Road, Bolton was given a score of three on November 12.

It means that of Bolton's 356 takeaways with ratings, 101 (28%) have ratings of five and just three have zero ratings.
