New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to five of Bolton’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Restaurants, cafes and canteens

The following ratings have been given to three restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 4: La Roma Restaurant at Lord Nelson, Kearsley Hall Road, Stoneclough Radcliffe, Bolton; rated on September 15

• Rated 4: Mangrove Restaurant & Takeaway at 1 Manchester Road, Westhoughton, Bolton; rated on September 15

• Rated 2: Kani Restaurant at 148 Derby Street, Bolton; rated on September 15

Pubs, bars and nightclubs

And one rating has been handed to a pub, bar or nightclub:

• Rated 4: The duke of wellington at Duke Of Wellington, 60 St Johns Road, Lostock, Bolton; rated on September 15

Plus one rating for a takeaway:

• Rated 2: Damascus Restaurant at 156-158 Derby Street; rated on September 15
