Essano, at 223 Manchester Road, Kearsley, Bolton was handed a two-out-of-five rating after assessment on October 4.

And Lucky Star Chinese Takeaway, at 291 Plodder Lane, Farnworth, Bolton was given a score of one on October 4.

It means that of Bolton's 363 takeaways with ratings, 144 (40%) have ratings of five and just four have zero ratings.
