New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Bolton’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Chai2wok, at 146 Blackburn Road, Bolton was handed a two-out-of-five rating after assessment on September 13.

And Grill 2 Thrill, at 216 Crescent Road, Bolton was given a score of zero on August 29.

It means that of Bolton's 366 takeaways with ratings, 145 (40%) have ratings of five and just five have zero ratings.
