New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Bolton’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Bolton’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Spice India, at 138 St Helens Road, Bolton was handed a three-out-of-five rating after assessment on April 27.

And Fratelli, at 19 Market Street, Little Lever, Bolton was given a score of zero on April 27.

It means that of Bolton's 371 takeaways with ratings, 141 (38%) have ratings of five and just five have zero ratings.
