New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Bolton’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Apollos Pizza & Chicken, at 53 Market Street, Farnworth, Bolton was handed a three-out-of-five rating after assessment on August 24.

And Taj Mahal, at 6 Higher Market Street, Farnworth, Bolton was given a score of two on September 22.

It means that of Bolton's 393 takeaways with ratings, 125 (32%) have ratings of five and just two have zero ratings.
