New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Bolton’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Blue Anchor Horwich Ltd, at 137-141 Chorley New Road, Horwich, Bolton was handed a three-out-of-five rating after assessment on December 19.

And zamzam pizza and grill, at 270 Deane Road, Bolton was also given a score of three on December 19.

It means that of Bolton's 439 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 245 (56%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
