A Bolton takeaway has been handed a new zero-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

A1 Fish and Chips, a takeaway at 433 Chorley Old Road, Bolton was given the minimum score after assessment on May 10, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Bolton's 378 takeaways with ratings, 117 (31%) have ratings of five and just five have zero ratings.
