A Bolton takeaway has been handed a new two-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

SMASHDOWN, a takeaway at 274 Halliwell Road, Bolton was given the score after assessment on December 19, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Bolton's 360 takeaways with ratings, 144 (40%) have ratings of five and just three have zero ratings.
