Bolton road closures: three for motorists to avoid this week
Bolton's motorists will have three road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.
And one of them is expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.

Hide AdThe latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:
• M61, from 8pm March 6 to 6am March 18, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M61 both directions M60 to junction 3 - lane closure for communications.
And a further two closures will begin over the next seven days:
• M61, from 8pm March 15 to 5am March 16, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M61 both directions J5 to J5 - lane closure for barriers.

Hide Ad• M61, from 9pm March 15 to 5am March 18, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M61 northbound, junction 4 to junction 5 - lane closure for construction improvement/upgrade.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
