Bolton road closures: three for motorists to avoid this week
Bolton's motorists will have three road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.
And two of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.

Hide AdThe latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:
• M60, from 8pm June 28 to 6am December 20, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M61 northbound and southbound, junction 1 - nine - Lane closure for communications.
And a further two closures will begin over the next seven days:
• M61, from 9pm November 25 to 7am November 26, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M61 southbound, junction 5 - carriageway closure for carriageway - reconstruction/renewal.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
